Day 3 - Tuesday - London

Today we got a little bit of a late start, one too many pints at the pub last night. After finally making it out of the flat, we grabbed some awesome Italian pizza and jumped on the underground.

Todays stops included the Tower Bridge and the Tate Modern Art Museum. I learned that the London bridge is really ugly and unimpressive. The Tower Bridge is the famous bridge.

We walked down through the south of town and along the river Thames. We passed Southwark Cathedral.

After finally we arrived at the Tate, we saw works by Lichtenstein, Matisse, Picasso and many others. My favorite by far was Jackson Pollack.

We hit the gift shop and I got a Warhol print of Marilyn Monroe.

On the way home we stopped in a little boutique where I got shoes (shocked, not). I got a pair of knee high heeled boots and ankle heeled boots - pictures below.

For dinner we went to this awesome Italian restaurant. We have a bottle of pinot grigio, an antipasto of tomato, mozzarella, avocado, and basil. Dinner was stuffed cheese and spinach tortellini. It was really delicious and beautiful. So beautiful that I took pictures, of course.

Early tomorrow we are off to Paris for the day. Our train leaves at 7am so it's going to be an early boring night.

Until tomorrow...
